The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) offers Masters Scholarships in a continued effort to enhance Human Resource Development in the Niger Delta region for Nigerian students from the Niger Delta to study abroad.
The commission is created to offer a lasting solution to the socio-economic difficulties of the Niger Delta Region and to facilitate the rapid and sustainable development of the Niger Delta into a region that is economically prosperous, socially stable, ecologically regenerative and politically peaceful.
The NDDC Local Masters Scholarship aims to foster global competitiveness by supporting academic excellence and professional development in key disciplines.

To be considered for the NDDC Local Masters Postgraduate Scholarship, you must:
Be indigenes of the Niger Delta Region.
What are the Niger Delta NDDC States?
The NDDC States includes Ondo, Imo, Delta, Rivers, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Abia, Cross River, and Bayelsa states
Be not older than forty (40) years of age.
Possess a First Class, Second Class Upper, or Lower Bachelor’s Degree.
Alternatively, possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Upper Credit and a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD).
